Former South Africa international, Doctor Khumalo, is optimistic about Bafana Bafana’s chances against the Super Eagles in the upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifiers set for June.

Speaking with SABC News, Khumalo drew inspiration from South Africa’s performance in the recent 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, despite losing to Nigeria in the semifinals. Khumalo urged support for South Africa’s World Cup aspirations, emphasizing their potential to overcome challenges.

As both teams stand 2nd and 3rd in Group C after two rounds, Khumalo believes they can navigate their way through the competition, especially against Nigeria.
