Akinyanju Omobolanle, popularly known as Ashabi, a Nigerian film actress and the mother of Portable’s child, has recently posted a mysterious message on her Instagram account following an altercation with the singer.

On her Instagram page, Ashabi shared a video of herself dancing amidst the ongoing drama with her child’s father. In the caption, she expressed the idea that sometimes it becomes necessary to stop focusing on the positive aspects of people and instead pay attention to their true nature, as demonstrated by their actions.

“Sometimes you need to stop seeing the good in people and start seeing what they show you”.

Just a few hours earlier, Portable had taken to his social media to criticise Ashabi, questioning her whereabouts when his wife, Bewaji, stood by him during his difficult times. He claimed that without the association of his name, Ashabi would merely be a comedian, suggesting that he was responsible for reviving her stagnant career.

The contentious singer asserted that he played a significant role in resurrecting her career and warned her not to speak out against him. He emphasised how he provides for her and takes care of her, referring to himself as her “second daddy.” Portable also expressed his disappointment at her lack of respect for him as her partner.
