All Fun and Games: Annabeth Gish, Keith David join Asa Butterfield, Natalia Dyer in horror film

All Fun and Games Annabeth Gish Keith David join Asa

A few months ago, we shared the news that Asa Butterfield (Sex Education) and Natalia Dyer (Stranger Things) would be starring in the horror thriller All Fun and Games, which is being executive produced by Avengers: Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo. Now Deadline reports that filming has officially begun on All Fun and Games, and Butterfield and Dyer have been joined in the cast by Keith David (John Carpenter’s The Thing), Annabeth Gish (Midnight Mass), and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, who plays the title role in Disney’s upcoming version of Pinocchio.

All Fun and Games marks the feature directorial debut of Ari Costa and Eren Celeboglu, who also wrote the screenplay (based on an original spec script written by JJ Braider). The story follows

two kids who play a game with their sadistic older cousin and awaken a cruel entity knows as ‘The Skarrow.’

The production and finance outfits Anton and AGBO are collaborating on this project under the Gozie Agbo banner, “which is geared towards championing indie filmmakers.” One of the previous movies to come from the Gozie Agbo banner was Natalie Erika James’ horror movie Relic. Anton’s Sebastien Raybaud and John Zois are producing All Fun and Games alongside AGBO’s Kassee Whiting and Jake Aust. Executive producing with AGBO’s Joe and Anthony Russo are Mike Larocca, Angela Russo-Otstot, and Anton’s Holly Hubsher.

Anton’s Cecile Gaget describes All Fun And Games as “a great summer movie for young audiences”. Distributors in multiple territories have already shown interest in bringing the film to audiences: it has secured deals with Square One for Germany; Sun Distribution Group for Spain, Portugal, and Latin America; Rialto for Australia and N.Z.; WW Entertainment in the Benelux; Nordisk for Scandinavia; Arna Media for CIS; Falcon Films for the Middle East, excluding Israel and Turkey; Moviecloud for Taiwan; Challan for S. Korea; Sahamongkol for Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Myanmar; Husky for Vietnam; PVR for India; Cinema 21 for Indonesia; Squarebox for Malaysia and Brunei; Shaw Renters for Singapore; and Rafaella Films for the Philippines.
