Nollywood actress Eve Esin voiced her concerns on Instagram about how Nigerians are reacting online to Junior Pope’s death.

In a short post, Eve Esin wrote:

“If you know how quickly people forget the dead, you will stop living to impress people..”

To expand on her thoughts, Eve Esin stated:

“Its your life, Do you! Everyone will be alright. May we not become victims for content creation by the same people we “feel” are our people. Empathy and sympathy no longer exist Divine protection and grace we pray thee oh God”

Eve Esin was primarily addressing those exploiting Junior Pope’s death for online attention. She appeared deeply saddened by the use of her colleague’s passing to generate content.
