Former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has called on the Ministry of Health to take action against the leadership of Maitama General Hospital following the death of Greatness Olorunfemi.

Saraki alleges that the hospital violated the law by refusing to admit Olorunfemi, who was in need of medical attention.

Olorunfemi was a victim of robbery and was thrown out of a one-chance vehicle along the Maitama-Kubwa expressway in Abuja. She was later found and taken to Maitama General Hospital, where she ultimately passed away after medical personnel allegedly refused to admit her due to a lack of a police report.

Expressing his condemnation of the situation, Saraki reminded medical personnel of their primary duty to save lives. He emphasized the importance of legislation designed to protect victims of violence and called for its strict enforcement.
