Woman shares her experience after her car broke down on 3rd Mainland Bridge

A woman has recounted her horrific experience after her car broke down at the foot of 3rd Mainland Bridge.

She said that immediately after her car went off, about six guys rushed her and her friend, took the money in her friend’s bag, disconnected her car battery, and threatened to beat them up.

She said they then forced her to use a POS machine to give them money.

Cars were speeding past as this was going on but no one stopped to help.

When they were done robbing them, she said the men returned her phone and told her they are not thieves and she was supposed to “settle them”.

They went on to help her fix her car before leaving with the money they stole from them.
