Woman accused of stealing money, clothes, and shoes from boyfriend’s residence appears in court.

Edwisha Ndaikenza, a Burundian woman, was charged with theft, after allegedly stealing Sh17,000, assorted clothes, and shoes valued at Sh22,000 from her boyfriend’s  house

On February 21, 2023. According to the complainant, Ndabarushimana Claude, Ndaikenza was left alone in the sitting room while he went to sleep, but he woke up at around 5am to find the items missing. He reported the incident to the police after discovering that the door had not been broken as claimed by Ndaikenza. She was later arrested but nothing was recovered. Ndaikenza pleaded not guilty and was released on cash bail of Sh10,000. The case will be mentioned on March 16th, with the hearing scheduled for July 26th, 2023.
