We Will No Longer Depend On Oil In Ondo – Akeredolu


Governor Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, has asserted that Ondo State will no longer depend on monthly allocation from oil derivation coming from the Federation’s account in Abuja.

Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu disclosed this on Sunday 10th September, 2017 during the day -4 of the ongoing 2nd Regular Meeting of the National Council on Niger Delta in Akure the Ondo State capital.
Governor Akeredolu who was represented by the Deputy Governor, Alfred Agboola Ajayi said that with or without oil Ondo State was ready to unlock the potentials hidden in the state to drive the economy.
This assertion may not be unconnected with the brilliant performance of the Arts Exhibition tagged ” Treasure of Our Land/Exhibition ” displayed at the Art Hall of the Dome.
The Deputy Governor who addressed press after the inspection of the various beautiful artistic works on display commended members of the Local Organising Committee led by its Chairman, Honourable Olugbenga Edema for a job well done.
