Vee Iye, a participant in the Big Brother Naija ‘Lockdown’ show, has expressed deep gratitude towards Funke Akindele, a renowned Nollywood actress.
Vee, who features in Funke Akindele’s latest film titled “She Must Be Obeyed,” thanked the actress for providing her with this opportunity.
In a social media post, Vee shared a screenshot of a direct message she had sent to Funke Akindele several years ago, where she had humbly requested a role in one of the actress’s movies. Surprisingly, Funke responded to her message and assured her of a role in one of her future projects.
True to her word, Funke cast Vee in her new film, “She Must Be Obeyed,” which is exclusively available on Prime Video. The movie also features other talented actors such as Mike Ezurounye and Nancy Isime, among others.
Expressing her appreciation, Vee mentioned that Funke played a significant role in helping her discover a newfound level of confidence that she was previously unaware of.
“Thank you for giving me a chance @funkeakindele you helped me unlock a level of confidence I never knew I had. I love you, Aunty”.
