Tinubu’s Request to Appoint 20 Special Advisers Approved by Senate

On Tuesday, the Senate granted its approval to President Bola Tinubu’s request to appoint 20 special advisers. Senate President Ahmad Lawan took the initiative of reading Tinubu’s letter aloud during the session held in the upper legislative chamber.

Notably, the letter did not provide a specific list of the 20 individuals who would assume the role of special advisers.

Following the reading of the letter, the upper legislative chamber swiftly granted its consent to the request, ensuring a prompt approval process for Tinubu’s proposal.
