Time to leave music and go back to school – Blaqbonez advises Rema

Nigerian rap star, Emeka Akumefule, popularly known as Blaqbonez, has advised his younger colleague, Divine ‘Rema’ Ikubor, to return to school.

Recall that Rema announced in January 2022, that he gained admission into the University of Lagos.

However, higher institutions shutdown a month later when the Academic Staff Union of Universities, (ASUU) embarked on strike.

After about 8 months closure, the union called off the industrial action earlier this month and many universities have already reopened.

Following the development, Blaqbonez told Rema that he loves his energy at his ongoing music tour, but he added that education is key, hence why it is important that for him to go and continue his studies.

He wrote on Twitter: ”Hey @heisrema, love your tour energy and things but education is Key as no knowledge is lost. it’s time to get Back in Uni !! 🖤”
