Thor: Love And Thunder’s lack of a trailer with three months until its release, breaks a Marvel record

Thor Love And Thunders lack of a trailer with three

Not really sure this is a record that Marvel wants to break but it’s a distinction that is being bestowed upon them. We are three months out until Thor: Live and Thunder hits the big screen and fans have been clamoring for a trailer for quite some time now. Even though Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, and director Taika Waititi have been doing VERY early promotion for the film, a trailer is nowhere in sight and now that wait breaks a very interesting Marvel record.
We’re at 90 days until the release of Thor: Love and Thunder and the lack of any footage from the Thor sequel means that the film has taken the title of having the shortest window between the release of the first trailer and the film making its debut in theaters. This is actually a pretty longstanding record and the previous champion was The Incredible Hulk in 2008.
The release of trailers is a bit different in today’s cinematic experience because fans can take to social media and get pretty vocal as they wonder why a trailer hasn’t been released. The lack of surprise and anticipation is a thing of the past. Moviegoers aren’t really patient anymore. This seemed to hit a fever pitch when fans were awaiting the first trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home. Various dates for the trailer drop were speculated on by fans and they all proved to be wrong until we actually got one.
Thor: Love and Thunder was reportedly going through reshoots recently so maybe that’s why we haven’t gotten a trailer just yet. With Hemsworth, Thompson, and Waititi starting early promotion for the film, some fans think they may have shot a little intro video to introduce the trailer as early as next week, but this is all speculation.
Why do YOU think we haven’t gotten the first trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder yet? Thor: Love and Thunder hits screens on July 8, 2022.
