Singer Davido’s former partner and mother of his child, Sophia Momodu, has provided a clue regarding the ongoing tension between them.

Ever since Davido married Chioma Rowland, the relationship between him and Sophia Momodu has deteriorated significantly. They have unfollowed each other on Instagram, and Momodu has been sharing cryptic posts, indicating the strained nature of their connection.

A few weeks ago, Momodu accused Davido of financial mistreatment, alleging that she is solely responsible for their daughter, Imade. Now, the fashion enthusiast has hinted at the underlying reason for their conflict.

During a Q&A session with her fans, Sophia Momodu insinuated that Davido was only taking care of their daughter because of her. However, now that she has moved on, he no longer wants to fulfill his parental responsibilities towards their child.

“It has always been bcos of you now that you’ve finally moved on he wants to be done with his child too grumpy asf… Fear men”, a fan wrote.

Agreeing with the fan, Sophia stated that educated and intelligent Nigerians still exist.

“Like I need educated, intelligent Nigerians do exist”.
