Sam Larry, who has been implicated in the alleged involvement in the death of singer Mohbad, has now addressed the accusations.
According to the allegations, Sam Larry, a popular music and show promoter, along with his associates, subjected Mohbad to continuous bullying, which had a detrimental effect on him. It was claimed that Sam Larry even influenced show promoters to deny Mohbad opportunities, making his life increasingly difficult after leaving Marlians Record.
Further controversy arose on social media after a video surfaced showing Sam Larry and others harassing the late singer Mohbad. In the video, Mohbad and Zlatan were on set for a music video when Sam Larry and his group arrived, targeting Mohbad, who fled in fear.
Addressing the allegations and clarifying the incident in the harassment video, Sam Larry shared a video on Instagram, stating, “Mohbad is my brother. I loved him when he was in Marlians record. The viral videos occurred last year when I was not in the country.”
He explained that the video where they disrupted the video shoot took place last year, but the deceased’s petition against them was dated June 2023. Additionally, he claimed that the video showing Mohbad with bruised skin was from a fight in a club involving Mohbad’s friend. He insisted that they did not harm Mohbad, despite his visible injuries.
According to Vistanaij Media’s reports, Sam Larry, also known as Sammy Larry Eletu Balogun, gained media attention after controversial singer Portable accused him of being associated with the One Million Boys cultist group. However, Sam Larry later refuted these claims. He is known to be an ally of singer Naira Marley.
