Nollywood actress, Ruth Kadiri, has expressed her strong disapproval towards an Ekiti Chef named Chef Dammy, who is attempting to break Hilda Baci’s unofficial 100-hour cook-a-thon record. The news of Hilda Baci’s achievement had made headlines last month after she successfully surpassed the previous Guinness World Record in the longest cooking category.

Originally, Chef Hilda had set a goal of cooking for 88 hours, but she exceeded her own target and managed to cook for an impressive 100 hours. However, barely a month later, Chef Dammy emerged as a competitor, already having cooked for more than 13 hours.

Ruth Kadiri responded to this development by criticizing Chef Dammy for not allowing Hilda Baci to fully enjoy the excitement and celebration of her victory. She expressed her disappointment, highlighting how many Nigerians tend to rely on others to initiate actions and then simply follow the trend without independent thinking.

“They won’t think for themselves but the moment you do it….. Every one starts realizing they can do it too. They can’t even wait for her euphoria to settle. Meetnigerians my people”.
