Nigeria’s present challenges due to failure of older generation to mentor youths, Says CIRS

The Corporate Institute of Strategic Research (CISR) has said that the present challenges facing the country are a result of the inability of the older generations to carefully mentor the youths.

Princewill Inyang, the CISR President, made the observation in Abuja at the institute’s corporate induction workshop.

He lamented that as senior professionals are getting old and out of service, those who take over do not know how to tackle the issues of poverty, morality and security in the country.

“We’re looking at mentors and researchers that can groom others as our members are high-ranking officers in their perspective as they have visions,” he said.

Princewill Inyang observed that there’s no transferable skill as nobody wants to transform and it is the problem.

He explained that building the credibility together to solve a common problem is what the institute is doing, stressing that they have to hold a model for training youths to make them innovative to build tentacles for leadership.
