Prominent Nigerian celebrities, Iyabo Ojo and Tonto Dikeh, are currently facing criticism for their recent video. The duo’s choice to film their purchase of a new casket for Mohbad has sparked a debate within the Nigerian community.
Previously, concerns were raised about the size of the initial casket in which Mohbad was laid to rest. Many individuals felt that it was inadequate and advocated for a more suitable casket to properly honor the late artist. Responding to these concerns, Iyabo Ojo and Tonto Dikeh took the initiative to procure a new casket.
However, what caught the attention of online users was their decision to document the process of acquiring the casket. Some Nigerians questioned whether Iyabo and Tonto’s motives for capturing this private moment stemmed from genuine compassion or a quest for attention and popularity.

One Fela Cas wrote “Two clout chasers doing everything for the camera”
One Osun è ku iroju I wrote “I have once said it and will still reiterate it again. These people care less about Mohbad. They are all about clout chasing. With my over 4 decades on earth, I have never seen anyone do a video while shopping for a casket. It’s so gri ss. Haha”
One Abeni wrote “Is it necessary to record the act of commemoration? This isn’t me calling them clout chasers, but is it necessary tho’? Seeing those coffins just gives me chills ”
