Samklef, a seasoned music producer and recording artist, has garnered praise from Nigerians for raising over N15 million for the late singer Mohbad’s son.
Taking to his Twitter page, Samklef expressed gratitude to all those who contributed towards supporting the singer’s son and advocating on his behalf. Accompanied by a screenshot, he revealed that the total amount raised reached N15,567,300.
In his tweet, Samklef stated,“Here is the total money raised as at this morning for Mohbad’s son N15,567,300. God bless you all for all you do and for fighting for Imole, he was an Angel among us”,
The news was met with joy, and many urged the music producer to ensure that the funds were kept away from Mohbad’s father.

Since it became known that the singer had a son whom he had kept private, numerous individuals have been offering financial support to his wife.
Just recently, Soso Soberekon, a business mogul and talent manager, donated N2 million to Mohbad’s son. Additionally, Almubee, a Nigerian businessman and Chairman of Almubee Group, gifted Omowunmi N2 million and pledged to sponsor their son’s education up to the university level.
Furthermore, singer Naira Marley, who has faced accusations from many, was reportedly raising funds for Mohbad’s son. This act of generosity was reported by media personality and artist Samklef.
When news of Mohbad’s passing circulated, his wife and the mother of his child expressed her concerns about shouldering the responsibility of caring for their child alone. On her Instagram page, she shared a series of posts contemplating where to begin, as the responsibilities of two have now become hers alone.
