Mohamed Buba Marwa, the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), has expressed his admiration for the Theatre Commander Joint Task Force (JTF) North East (NE) Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), Major General GU Chibuisi, and the troops of OPHK for their patriotism, professionalism, gallantry, and sacrifices made for the country.
During his visit to the Headquarters Theatre Command OPHK at Maimalari Cantonment in Maiduguri, Marwa commended the military for their efforts and sought further collaboration and support in the fight against illicit drug use and trafficking, as well as preventing insurgents from accessing drugs.
Marwa emphasized the importance of working together with the military to combat the drug menace in Nigeria. He assured the Command of the NDLEA’s readiness to educate and raise awareness among troops about the dangers of illicit drugs. Additionally, he called for regular drug testing for the troops.
Furthermore, Marwa commended the troops for their unwavering determination and dedication to their duties.
