A 20-year-old man named Josiah Godwin, of the Imafon community in Akure South Local Government Area of Ondo State, has allegedly murdered his boss, Savior Joseph, and disposed of the body in a well.

Sources say that the disagreement started when Joseph broke Godwin’s phone during an argument.

According to the deceased’s older brother, Odey Ogbaji, the body was discovered several days later at the work site after attempts to reach Joseph were unsuccessful. Godwin claimed that Joseph had physically assaulted him and he killed him in self-defense.

The suspect has been taken into police custody and will be charged in court. A police spokesperson, Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisayan, confirmed the incident and stated that Godwin has admitted to killing Joseph.
