According to the actor who’s starred in Hollywood movies, it takes the grace of God to put oneself into a movie character.

Boma said; “Acting is definitely not as easy as it seems. One needs talent, dedication, hard work and skill. One has to develop their muscle memory to be able to assimilate scripts easily. Getting in and out of character sometimes takes the grace of God.”

He also addressed a statement by the President of Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas, that Nollywood was not a dumping ground for former BBNaija housemates.

“That’s to whom it may concern. That particular statement has nothing to do with me. I have been acting since 2017. I went to the New York Film Academy in the United States of America in 2017 and I am a trained actor. I have worked on numerous projects, including ‘Blacklist NBC’, ‘Law and Order SVU’ and ‘Brooklyn Coven’. I did all of them before coming on the BBN show. I can’t even relate (to what the AGN president said),” Boma said.

On his role in the movie, ‘Brotherhood’, he explained, “I played the role of Sanusi, an ex-military weapon specialist from Chad Republic. The role had lots of stunt action. Luckily for me, I’m a trained stunt actor from one of the best teachers in New York. I did 95 per cent of my stunts myself. We did lots of risky moves; I got injured but I am glad it wasn’t too extreme. I look forward to acting with Denzel Washington, Brad Pitt and Viola Davis.”

The brand influencer also talked about learning some vital lessons from life.

He said; “I have learnt that there is always calmness after the storm. Also, I have learnt that patience is a virtue and focus is extremely important in achieving one’s life goals.”
