KWASU Denies Association with Missing Student

Kwara State University, Malete, has officially denied any association with the missing 24-year-old man reported to be a student of the institution.

In a statement issued by Dr. Saeedat Aliyu, the Acting Director of University Relations, it was clarified that AbdulMueez Olamilekan Jimoh is not enrolled as a student at Kwara State University, Malete.

The statement emphasized that records from the university indicate that AbdulMueez Olamilekan Jimoh ceased paying school fees and registering for courses since the 2021/2022 academic session, which would have been his second year of study.

The failure to fulfill financial obligations and register for courses beyond the second year, without written approval from the institution, is considered voluntary withdrawal from the university.

Therefore, the management of Kwara State University, Malete, categorically states that AbdulMueez Olamilekan Jimoh is not a student of the institution.

The statement also highlighted that the Nigeria Police is actively involved in efforts to locate him.
