Dr. Adetola Salau has been appointed by the Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, as the Special Adviser on Education, among other aides.
This announcement was made in a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Rafiu Ajakaye, and shared on the official Kwara State Government’s Twitter handle on Saturday.
Dr. Salau, a native of Ifelodun, is a renowned expert in education policy, particularly in the field of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). She has authored several books and articles on the subject, including “STEM is Key” – a resource book for understanding and implementing STEM education, “STEM Activities in Algebra Geometry and Personal Finance,” and “STEM Activities for Primary and Junior Secondary Schools.”
Previously, Dr. Salau served as a Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Lagos State on Education until May 29, 2023.
Dr. Salau holds a doctoral degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and the Science of Learning from the University at Buffalo, State University of New York. She earned her undergraduate degree from Fordham University, where she graduated as the top-performing student, and her master’s degree from Syracuse University.
