Kiernan Shipka & Diane Kruger explore the deep end for Roku’s Swimming with Sharks trailer

Now that Kiernan Shipka is no longer conjuring chaos as Sabrina Spellman, she’s climbing the corporate ladder one scheme at a time. Roku has unveiled its Swimming with Sharks trailer, which shows what happens when the little people fight back and ruin your best-laid plans.

The highly anticipated drama led by Diane Kruger and Kiernan Shipka, and from Kathleen Robertson, who serves as creator and showrunner, is about the dark side of the Hollywood studio system and an assistant who turns the tables on an abusive boss. Filled with psychological twists and turns, Swimming with Sharks presents a cautionary tale for corporate fat cats who think themselves untouchable. Donald Sutherland, Thomas Dekker, Finn Jones, Erika Alexander, Ross Butler, and Gerardo Celasco round out the incredible cast.

“What you think means nothing. What you feel means nothing. You are nothing.” These are the words Spika’s Lou hears during orientation for her new internship at Fountain Pictures. Can you imagine being talked to in such a demoralizing way? It’s no wonder that Lou eventually turns the tables on this nightmare studio and poisons it from the inside out. You get yours, Lou! Don’t let them see you smile, and pick these losers off one scandal at a time.

Swimming with Sharks is written by showrunner Kathleen Robertson and directed by Tucker Gates. Chris Cowles, Liz Destro, Stephen Israel, Jay Cohen, and Dana Brunetti served as executive producers. The series was created in partnership with Lionsgate Television.

Swimming with Sharks is a Roku Original series that will debut in its entirety on April 15, 2022. Let us know what you think of the Swimming with Sharks trailer in comments section below.
