Kidnappers To Collect ₦50 Million Ransom In Order To Release

Kidnappers of the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Fugar Police Division, Etsako Local Government Area of Edo, CSP Ibrahim Aliyu Ishaq Fugar have requested for ransom from his family.

He was said to have been abducted around Ise river along old Auchi – Ekperi- Agenebode road in Edo State.

It was reported earlier today that former President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Abdul Aminu Mahmud broke the news on Friday night.

It was gathered that the kidnappers contacted the family of the police officer and demanded N50 million ransom payment.

CSP Ishaq before his deployment some years ago, had served as DPO in Dakata Police Division in Kano State.

Meanwhile, the state Commissioner of police, Philip Ogbadu says he has ordered men of the Anti-Kidnapping and Cyber Crime unit, men of the Tactical and Strike teams of the State Police Command to move to the area to rescue the DPO unhurt.
