Death Claims Nigeria’s Tallest Man at the Age of 48

Afeez Agoro Oladimeji, known as Nigeria’s tallest man and an actor, has passed away.

The 48-year-old sadly succumbed to a prolonged illness on Wednesday night at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH).

The announcement of his demise was shared on Thursday via a tweet from Pamilerin Adegoke, a well-known Twitter influencer. The news of Afeez Agoro Oladimeji’s death has since spread, marking the end of a remarkable life and career.

In a tweet, Pamilerin Adegoke shared the news of Afeez Agoro Oladimeji’s passing, stating, “Nigerian tallest man Afeez Agoro Oladimeji is dead after suffering from prolonged sickness.”

Oladimeji, who was born in Sabo Yaba, Lagos State, and stood at an impressive height of 2.25 meters (7 ft 4 in), had been confined to his bed for the past eight months prior to his demise. His prolonged illness had taken a toll on his health, ultimately leading to his unfortunate death.
