Keyamo Warns Organised Labour to Avoid Aviation Sector Amid NLC and TUC Strike

During a ministerial retreat held in Effurun, Delta, Festus Keyamo, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, issued a warning to the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) regarding potential disruptions to flight operations at airports.

As the political head of the aviation industry in Nigeria, Keyamo expressed his firm stance against labor leaders obstructing access roads to the airports. He emphasized that targeting the aviation sector as a means to address grievances would have far-reaching consequences, as it is an integral part of the global community.

The warning came in response to reports of labor leaders blocking access roads to the Abuja Airport in protest over the alleged maltreatment of Joe Ajaero, the NLC president.

Keyamo appealed to the labor leaders nationwide, urging them to refrain from allowing the Labor Party (LP) to undermine the labor movement and advised them to abstain from targeting the aviation industry.
