Jamila Bio Ibrahim, originally from Kwara State, is a 37-year-old medical doctor, politician, and development expert. She is a staunch advocate of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

In her political career, before her recent appointment, she held the position of National President of the APC Young Women Forum (PYWF) and also served as the Senior Special Assistant on Health Matters to the Governor of Kwara State.

Dr. Jamila has dedicated her time to humanitarian efforts, particularly in the North-East region of Nigeria, working with the Presidential Committee on the North-East Initiative (PCNI).

She is a passionate advocate for women and youth empowerment, emphasizing their active participation in socio-political activities to drive community and national development.

Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim has received recognition and awards for her contributions:

– She was honored with the Clean Nigeria Ambassador award for her work in Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene.
– She holds the title of UN Peace Ambassador, bestowed upon her by the International Association of World Peace Advocates.
– She received a Distinguished Honorary Award in acknowledgment of her contributions to Education and the SDGs, supported by UNESCO Nigeria.
– Dr. Jamila has represented Nigeria and Kwara State as a speaker on international platforms, including the United Nations and the African Union (AU).
