Actress Iyabo Ojo is expressing her frustration after a fan ruined her expensive attire at the recent AMVCA 2023 event held in Lagos.

The Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) 2023 took place earlier this month at the Eko Hotel Convention Centre Eko Hotel and Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos. Celebrities from various industries graced the occasion with their elegant presence.

Revealing the significant cost of her stunning dress, Iyabo Ojo shared that she had spent $50,000, equivalent to approximately N37.5 million in Nigerian currency, for the showstopping ensemble. The dress was meticulously designed by renowned celebrity stylist, Toyin Lawani.

Expressing her dismay, Iyabo Ojo reposted a video on Instagram featuring a fan mimicking her appearance at the AMVCA. In her caption, she expressed her anger and stated her intention to seek legal action, saying,

“Please, I need an Idan lawyer. Who has Oba lawyers number? I need to sue this guy… Nobody should beg me, we shall meet in court… My $50,000 dress, no wayyyyyy.”

Her fans have reacted strongly to the revelation of the amount she spent.
