Governor Agbu Kefas Encourages Diligence and Dedication among NYSC Members

Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State reiterated the importance of diligence and dedication among members of the National YouthService Corps (NYSC).

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Batch A Stream 1 orientation course held at the permanent orientation camp in Sibere, Ardo-kola Local Government Area, the governor, represented by the Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Joshua Joseph, emphasized his administration’s commitment to the welfare of corps members.

Governor Kefas urged the NYSC members to actively participate in the scheduled training activities and lectures, highlighting the significance of these sessions for their personal and professional development. He encouraged them to embrace diversity and foster national unity by interacting with peers from diverse backgrounds.

Furthermore, Governor Kefas pledged his support for the development of key sectors such as education, agriculture, sports, tourism, healthcare services, and infrastructure. He called on the corps members to contribute to the improvement of these sectors through their dedicated efforts.

The Taraba State Coordinator of NYSC, Anthony Nzuka, also stressed the importance of the orientation course and urged the corps members to actively engage in the various activities planned for the exercise.

During the ceremony, 1,475 corps members took an oath administered by Justice Nuhu Adi, representing the Chief Judge of Taraba State, Justice Filibus Agya.
