Gbenga Adewusi, a renowned music promoter and marketer, has responded to accusations made by his former artist, Busola Oke, regarding sexual misconduct.
According to a recent report by Vistanaij Media, the Gospel singer accused Gbenga Adewusi of withholding her earnings after she rejected his sexual advances. She claimed that the label left her financially depleted, forcing her to sell her possessions because she refused to be part of his group of women.
In response to these allegations, Gbenga Adewusi stated that he had helped her rise from obscurity to prominence without engaging in a romantic relationship or seeing her in a vulnerable state. He mentioned that she had left his label a decade ago and had since collaborated with other marketers.
Gbenga recounted that during their UK tour, Busola allegedly had an affair and gave birth to a child with their London-based promoter, which led to complications with his own wife and other issues.
Describing her as responsible for her own predicament, he claimed that she was attempting to revive her career by exploiting Mohbad’s death and tarnishing his reputation. He advised her to reconsider her actions in order to reintegrate herself into the industry.
