In a post shared on her Instagram page, the accomplished actress emphasized her personal experience in such circumstances, expressing the profound distress it can cause.
As a mother of twins, Funke stressed the importance of kindness towards those who are grieving, suggesting that if one cannot offer empathy and support, it is better to remain silent.
She encouraged Nigerians to demonstrate love and provide assistance to those who have suffered a loss.
“Pls be watchful of what you say when people are mourning. If you cannot be kind pls keep Quiet. May the Lord comfort those mourning. Amen.
I’ve been there, it’s a terrible feeling to mourn. Pls, be kind.
