Nollywood actor Frederick Leonard remains unaffected by his marital status when it comes to his interactions with female friends and colleagues.

Despite being married, the actor has decided to address the criticism he has received for getting close to women by sending a message to his detractors.

A video shared online captures Frederick engaging in a heartfelt embrace with a female companion as they exchange pleasantries.

Frederick acknowledges the societal expectation for married men to maintain distance from female friends, but he chooses to defy this norm.

He expresses his frustration with the prevailing mentality among Nigerians, describing them as uneducated. He highlights the constant need to explain himself in situations involving interactions with the opposite gender.

“So the friends that I have before I got married, I should throw them away. The problem with Nigeria is that 75% of Nigerians are illiterate. So you now begin to over-explain yourself and open their brains. Life is not that hard we are still young people”, he said.
