Federal Government Resolves Passport Production Crisis in the United States

The Federal Government has successfully resolved the passport production crisis in the United States, leading to the resumption of passport services at the country’s three missions in the US.

A Public Notice has been issued at the Embassy of Nigeria in Washington DC, notifying passport applicants that were previously scheduled for biometric capturing to visit the Mission on Monday. The notice further explains that the biometric capturing appointments initially planned for Monday, November 13th to Thursday, November 16th have been rescheduled.

According to the updated schedule, the biometric capturing sessions will now take place from Monday, November 20th to Wednesday, November 22nd, 2023. The notice assures the affected applicants that they can visit the Embassy on any of the rescheduled days.
