She was immediately taken to the hospital, but unfortunately, she later passed away. Itele, her colleague, announced the tragic news on Instagram, where he mourned her passing. Other colleagues, including Odunlade Adekola, Kunle Afod, and Nkechi Blessing, expressed their grief on social media.

Kunle Afod wrote, “May she rest in the bosom of the Lord,” while Odunlade Adekola posted a picture of a candle with the caption “R.I.P Gbemi.”

Nkechi Blessing also reacted to the news, writing, “Toh this one weak me.”
