Popular costumier and fashion entrepreneur,Yolanda Okereke just lost her husband, Karibi Fubara. He was a nollywood actor.

“He was a warrior, now he’s an angel in heaven,” said a social media post by His sister, Stella Fubara, a top official working with the government of Dubai.

The cause of Fubara’s death according to his family sources was Cancer.

It was gathered that, he was undergoing cancer treatment for the past year before the unfortunate incident. Last year, he wrote a post about how he detected that he had kidney tomour/Cancer. He went through operations and medical care on it and it all went well. He wrote thanking those who stood by him, especially the doctors, nurses and his beautiful wife.

Karibi was from River State. He got married to Yolanda Okereke in 2019.

Yolanda Okereke is a Costume Designer and Wardrobe Specialist for Film and Television. She has worked in Nollywood for over 15 years.
