CCB invites Keyamo as they investigate Atiku’s SPV saga

The Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) will investigate a petition submitted by Festus Keyamo, the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, against former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.

Keyamo alleged that Atiku used a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) to divert funds between 1999 and 2007. Keyamo filed a case in the Federal High Court, Abuja, naming CCB, Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), and Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) as defendants.

Atiku is the first defendant. The plaintiff demanded that Atiku provide information about bank accounts belonging to Marine Float and two other undisclosed companies.

The CCB confirmed receipt of the petition and invited Keyamo to adopt his petition and assist in securing the whistleblower, Michael Achimugu, to aid the investigation. Festus Keyamo Chambers assured that they would continue to pursue the issue even after Bola Tinubu’s presidential election victory.
