The Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi (SAN), has expressed confidence that the reforms spearheaded by President Bola Tinubu will bring about economic prosperity and stability in Nigeria.
Fagbemi urged Nigerians to exercise patience and extend their support to the comprehensive reforms being implemented across various sectors. The statement was issued by Kamarudeen Ogundele, the Special Assistant on Communication & Publicity to the AGF and Minister of Justice.
During a prayer event organized by his family in his hometown of Ijagbo in Oyun Local Government, Kwara State, Fagbemi affirmed Tinubu’s commitment to steering the country out of its current challenges.
“The President is not driven by self-aggrandizement. He is striving for a better future for the country,” Fagbemi stated. “Since taking office, he has been actively seeking the buy-in of investors, resulting in positive responses from foreign investors. We simply need to exercise patience. Just like a planted tree takes time to grow and bear fruit, we must be patient. Nigerians need to remain patient, as things will improve significantly in the days to come. The sacrifices we make today will translate into a brighter future for the country. With prayers and the support of Nigerians, the nation will emerge stronger,” he emphasized.
