Apostle Suleman challenges Halima Abubakar to substantiate her claims in court

Apostle Johnson Suleman, the founder of Omega Fire Ministries International, has challenged Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar to provide evidence supporting her allegations against him in a court of law.

Represented by his lawyer, Dr. Abdul Mahmud, Suleman insists that Abubakar should present evidence to support her claims during the ongoing defamation lawsuit against her, seeking 1 billion Naira in damages, which was filed last year.

In a statement released by Suleman’s lawyer on Friday, it was asserted that the actress unjustly attacked, maligned, and defamed the clergyman in an attempt to extort money from him.

The lawyer assured his client that justice would be sought in court regarding Abubakar’s defamatory statements.

The court trial, originally scheduled for a different date, has been rescheduled to June 6th and 7th, 2023, due to the absence of Halima Abubakar and her legal representation in court.
