Benue State Governor, Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia, has extended his congratulations to Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State on his resounding victory in the recent governorship election.
In a statement issued by Tersoo Kula, the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Alia, it was revealed that Governor Alia described Governor Uzodinma’s landslide victory, securing 540,308 votes compared to the PDP’s 71,508 votes and the Labour Party’s 64,081 votes, as heartwarming. The wide margin of victory signifies the trust and support the people of Imo have in Governor Uzodinma’s policies and the APC party.
Governor Alia assured Governor Uzodinma of his unwavering support and expressed his commitment to fostering a strong working relationship for the progress of their respective states and Nigeria as a whole.
Furthermore, Governor Alia prayed for Governor Uzodinma’s good health and long political career as he continues to lead the affairs of Imo State. He urged Governor Uzodinma to utilize his victory as an opportunity to provide purposeful leadership to the people of Imo State and beyond.
