Adamawa State House of Assembly Approves Appointment of Administrators for State's Development Areas

During a recent session, the Adamawa State House of Assembly granted approval for the appointment of administrators to oversee the 50 development areas within the state.

These development areas were established by the state government within the framework of the 21 local government areas outlined in the Nigerian Constitution.

The approval of the newly appointed administrators came after the Adamawa State House of Assembly reviewed a letter from Governor Ahmadu Fintiri. The letter, read during the Monday plenary by Speaker Bathiya Wesley, sought the assembly’s consideration for the appointment of administrators.

During the session, Ahmed Jingi Belel, the member representing Maiha Constituency and Deputy Majority Leader, presented a motion for approval. The motion received a second from Haruna Jilantikiri.
