That was the instruction given there. You need to install and activate the plugin first before activating theme.
Unfortunately, the plugin has been removed from WordPress directory.
If you can access your cpanel right now, please go to domain root, wp-content, themes, then rename or delete the theme. Your site will be back to normal.
