“Game Of Thrones” Script Leaked as HBO Suffers Hack Attack

It has been reported that the script for an upcoming episode of Game of Thrones has been leaked online following a hack at HBO. Additionally, two episodes of Ballers and Room 104 that are yet to air have also been leaked. The leaked Game of Thrones script is for an episode that is scheduled to air next week.

The hackers claim to possess over 1.5TB of data obtained from HBO, and they have reportedly contacted several journalists with details about the leak. The hackers also indicated that more content would be released in the future.

This is not the first time that HBO has had to contend with leaks related to its most popular show. Last year, the first four episodes of the season were leaked online. HBO later confirmed that the leaks were a result of advance screeners being sent to approved groups of reviewers and critics.

To prevent further leaks, HBO decided to stop sending advance screeners for the current season and even cautioned the show’s cast members to take extra security measures, such as using two-factor authentication on their email accounts.

In response to the recent hack, HBO has issued a statement confirming that it experienced a cyber incident that led to the compromise of proprietary information. The company is investigating the matter and is working with law enforcement as well as external cybersecurity firms.
